Personal Photography Projects

I’m deeply invested in personal photography projects. I typically have multiply bodies of work in progress at any given time, with many more ideas floating in my mind.

I’ve been working on The Swimmers for over five years, where I have been photographing the community of wild swimmers at Ahuriri, Napier on a regular basis. I also collaborate with florist Rebecca Hanke on a long-term projects like Syncro Systems and Laila and the Green Helmet, that have resulted in exhibitions in 2024 and 2025 and the sale of numerous prints. Alongside these, I also pursue portrait-based photography projects that allow me to experiment with different approaches to portraiture.
